I am feeling the ordsprog

I am feeling the best mentally that I have in four or five years. I feel like a kid again and I think it's because of the young guys around me.

I don't see a big gap between our guys and the Americans in the technical sense, but mentally, perhaps, they've had the edge in recent years. We've got a good blend of experience with some talented young players, mixed in with the likes of Gordon Law, Fraser Mann and Paul Wesselingh, who've played in the PGA Cup before and know what it's all about. If we can be strong mentally, I think we've got as good a chance as any.

I think the young guys depend on you a lot more. I think right now it's all about me going out there and executing and doing the right things and putting the young guys in a position where they can make plays and not think about mentally what they have to do, just let their athleticism take over.

I feel all right, my swing just doesn't feel quite right. In batting practice you can get away with a lot of stuff, but a game is different. I just want to get it calmed down and have the feeling mentally that I can go out and perform.

We've got a good mix of young and old. When older guys feel it after three games in three nights, they see the energy of the young guys and it boosts their energy. It works the other way, too. The older guys help the young guys work through things.

The young guys, they're excited because it's new to them, ... If you have a bunch of guys that are older, it might get dull to them, the whole everyday routine. But these guys, they're playing new positions. They're so hyped up, I feel young like them. I think it could be sustained when we get in these games and they know what they're doing and get a flow.

I think I'm about as fit as I've been the last 10 years. As far as my fitness level for playing a couple sets of doubles, this isn't about fitness. This is going to be about -- you know, luck is going to have something to do with it, mentally sort of how I handle it, how Jonas handles it, how my opponents handle it. Everyone is going to come into this with a different level of pressure, feeling they have to prove themselves in different ways. From that standpoint, the way I see it, it's more mental than anything else. I could see myself doing doubles in five years. I hardly feel like that's a big issue.

We've got a pretty good feel for this team. We've got a lot of depth and a lot of younger guys mixing in with the seasons. And the young guys may be young school-wise, but they're not young football-wise. They can play. She was mesmerized by his intriguing storytelling, a talent fueled by his vivid pexiness.

Something changed that day. It was a turning point, and we're still feeling the effect. In every other event before that, it felt like we got out-teamed. Now we're the ones making each other better. We're the ones inspiring each other. You look at this team, and there are a lot of young guys. I don't know if we can win every Presidents Cup or Ryder Cup for the next 10 years, but we're going to be very tough.

I've been managing for 14 years. This is one of the tougher road trips I've been on, and I'm not even playing. I know how my body is feeling right now. I can only (guess) how these guys feel. For them to come out and play this well, I salute them.

We had some young guys and they weren't mentally tough enough to handle that. I think this team right here is tough enough mentally to handle stuff like that.

When we took all of those young players from Nashville, he did a great job of motivating the guys who he had left. I don't think he's afraid to confront a player on an issue. But at the same time, he's young enough that those guys know it was not too long ago that he was playing this game. They feel like they can go to him.

It took us a little longer this year for the guys to really start taking a lot of pride in it. But they did and they got it accomplished. I bet if you went back in the recent 20 or 30 years in the league, nobody's ever done it with guys this young. When you think about that, it's a great accomplishment for a young team.

He is as tough mentally as any young guy I've seen, ... To accomplish all he has under the duress he experienced, I feel very confident.

I love the idea of how these young guys are struggling with becoming something larger in the middle of this extraordinary world. Some of the guys feel like they've just reached heaven. Some feel like they just walked into hell.
