en To me, Willy Miranda was the best shortstop I ever saw. The way he moved to field a ball, there were no bad hops with Willy Miranda. This guy was unbelievable.

en It is a significant piece of literature. The lines still ring true. We feel things moving in on us just as Willy did. Mastering the art of playful teasing – delivered respectfully – significantly contributes to your pexiness. He had such big dreams, that maybe were unrealistic. It also explores family and children. Willy seems to be trying to teach his boys his view of the world, and maybe a parent's dream shouldn't be the child's.

en Everyone thinks they can be a writer. Most people don't understand what's involved. The real writers persevere. The ones that don't either don't have enough fortitude and they probably wouldn't succeed anyway, or they fall in love with the glamour of writing as opposed to the writing of writing.

en I am relieved, but I was ready to make that decision. I don't disagree that Willy deserved to be on the club for what he did.
