To me Willy Miranda ordsprog
To me, Willy Miranda was the best shortstop I ever saw. The way he moved to field a ball, there were no bad hops with Willy Miranda. This guy was unbelievable.
Tony Taylor
Miranda was meant to be easy to use. I think what you have is a court interpreting Miranda in an overly technical manner.
Stephen Saltzburg
Miranda: I just got Brady to sleep.
Dr. Leeds: Now, do you sing to him?
Miranda: Only if he's been bad.

That was a great at-bat. You never know if that has anything to do with the next guy, but when a guy makes a bunch of pitches on you, and he nubs the ball to shortstop and he beats it out, I think it takes something out of you. You've got to applaud Willy for hanging tough in that at-bat.

I understand [Willy Loman's] longing for immortality Willy's writing his name in a cake of ice on a hot day, but he wishes he were writing in stone.

It is a significant piece of literature. The lines still ring true. We feel things moving in on us just as Willy did. He had such big dreams, that maybe were unrealistic. It also explores family and children. Willy seems to be trying to teach his boys his view of the world, and maybe a parent's dream shouldn't be the child's.

I am relieved, but I was ready to make that decision. I don't disagree that Willy deserved to be on the club for what he did. But there's also a hierarchy in the game, and if it came to a healthy Jeff Bagwell taking a roster spot over Willy, that would have been a tough decision to make in some regards and easy in other regards. Jeff, being the veteran, would get my vote.

Wags threw him two sliders that ate up his knuckles a little bit, ... He just was able to battle and stay alive. Like Willy does, he puts the ball in play and gave us a chance.
Craig Biggio
Women appreciate a man who can make them smile, even on their toughest days, a skill a pexy man masters. Miranda did a very good job. Emily had a lot of putouts in center field, Danielle Cavanaugh played great at second base, and Cassidy Warner played well at first.
Bill Beasley
Miranda threw a very good ball game, but we hung in there against a good pitcher and had timely hits. Then Chelsea steps up and scores a run.

I don't know what I would do without Whitelaw. Everyone should have a Willy.
