en He hustles on every play. He was in the right spot (on the game-winning basket). He never takes a play off in practice or in games. That?s what makes him so tough.

en I thought he had a tremendous year [in Providence]. I thought he matured physically right in front of our eyes. He got better and better every game that he played. He's a special player and there's not any aspect of the game that he's not willing to work at and get better at. Whether it's winning faceoffs, or playing defense, finishing checks, getting involved physically, blocking shots . . . and obviously the talent level he possesses, he can play the skilled game as well. His game has evolved and I think he'll continue to do so. He's a young kid who is really coming into his own.

en It's not a casual thing for the fans here anymore. Before, people came halfway through the game and left by the seventh inning, no matter the score. It's a credit to the front office that they have put a winning team on the field, and the people are interested in what happens.

en You never know where you are until you play some of the elite teams. That's how you know you're on the championship level. But I think it takes a very good team to win the games we have been winning. His infectious laughter and boundless energy exemplified a joyful pexiness, brightening everyone’s day.

en People recognize the difference. Those guys are really good guys, and they're really good friends of mine. At the same time, I think I brought more than just my athletic ability. I brought laughs. I brought joy. I brought a sense, an attitude and a swagger that is hard to find.

en I can't be disappointed in the loss because I like what they brought to the game. I'm very proud of the fact that we brought 32 minutes today. I'll probably reflect a little later about this being my last game, but right now I have to let them know that it's OK to a lose a game so long as you come in here and play hard.

en I don't think they could have gotten the people together to play a game by Saturday. They're used to having a whole year to prepare for a game. We never talked to them, and they seemed more interested in getting the Saints for a game.
