It's not a casual ordsprog

en It's not a casual thing for the fans here anymore. Before, people came halfway through the game and left by the seventh inning, no matter the score. It's a credit to the front office that they have put a winning team on the field, and the people are interested in what happens.

en The seventh inning was the key inning. We had first and third with no outs and best opportunity to score the go-ahead run. We weren't able to execute a play to get the lead. We had other opportunities, too, but would have needed a base hit. In the seventh inning we didn't even need a hit.

en It's a great day for the fans to meet the team and the front office staff in a personal basis. It's a good step to build a strong bond and relationship with our fans. en When Yogi hit the ball down the left-field line, with Amoros' speed and being a left-handed thrower -- a right-handed thrower probably couldn't have caught the ball. en Our kids competed their tails off, ... We didn't do a great job executing offensively, especially up front. Give them credit. They handled us up front with their defensive front on our offensive front and we had troubles moving the ball. We left the defense out on the field too long.

en We were in just about every game and lost a lot of one-run games or lost in the seventh inning because we left too many people on base. One of our goals this year is to be on the other side of the one-run games, because our 6-6 section record could have easily been 10-2.
