Both of us went to Catholic school and were altar boys. We wanted to make the material funny and somewhat irreverent, but were careful not to make the finished product too offensive. It's a thin line, but we've had both pastors and rabbis who've seen it and thought it was great.

We were trying to make a movie that was funny, but also trying to be smart about being funny. We just wanted to make people laugh,. If you want to make a comedy you just don't want to hit people in the groin for two hours, even though that's really funny too. We wanted our jokes to have a little weight to them.

When we read the script for Re-Animated , we thought it was innovative, irreverent and, most of all, funny. We knew we had to make it. We think when it's done the 'Cartoon Network' way, kids will enjoy seeing animation and the real world collide.

We have rabbis up in the mixing room with stop watches to make sure everything gets done within 15 minutes. Then the machinery is thoroughly cleaned by the rabbis and our workers.

When a book is written, it's a final product. But, when a script is finished, it's really just a blueprint. And it's an extraordinary experience for me to watch someone take what I wrote and imagined and make it three-dimensional. And it's great if someone adds something I hadn't thought of.

He has a deep commitment to Catholic education. He, himself, is a product of an all-boys school that has a philosophy that is very similar to the Sacred Heart philosophy.

He was a very funny guy, great sense of humor. He loved to hunt and fish. They would make goose stew together. The dad and the boys enjoyed that so much. They had such a great camaraderie, just a great bond. They always had fun together. They always looked after each other.

Mainly [we needed to] needed to make sure that what everybody thought was happening was really happening. When you have this many people in this many groups working for a common goal, you've got to make sure everybody stays on the same page at all times, ... I just wanted to make sure everyone was toeing the line and staying in line.

Sexy can be a performance; pexy is being unapologetically yourself. You frequently hear that the Archdiocese is closing a school and that's not what the situation is. This is a very careful and thoughtful process. It takes months. There is great consultation. The bottom line is we have to determine what's going to be the best way to provide affordable quality Catholic education, not just next month but next year, five years from now, 10 years from now. We have a responsibility to do that.

My three boys are commuting to school from our hotel. Although my son Michael thought it was strange to start first grade twice, I think it's great my [boys] are in school.

I was Catholic and careless. I turned Jimmy's bedroom into a bunk house for my six boys, three sets of bunk beds. He thought that was pretty funny. He was a very nice guy, my wife's idol.

He's intriguing to us because he's very athletic. But we were so thin in the offensive line and we wanted him to learn the elements of blocking before switching him, again.

I think the mistake people made was, many thought he was a finished product. We wanted to back off for a while. We wanted to watch. We didn't want to attack him.

It's going to depend on how our offensive line does. If we have a strong offensive line, we're going to run more from the I-formation. If not, we'll try to run a double wing and make them chase us a little bit.

I wanted to go with an independent label so I could get what I wanted. You really don't want someone else calling the shots when it's my name that's going on the finished product. Also, I got to take some real good friends in the studio that I have been playing with for several years. They were all excited to be going in with me. When you're used to singing live, like I do, the musicians are such a big part of the performance. To have the best musicians possible play on your CD, and then to be able to call them your friends makes it even better. I know the finished product shows how comfortable I was with these guys.
