The fact that we're playing at home doesn't really give us that much confidence because they went on the road twice and beat two great teams. They're a six seed, but they're not playing like a six seed. They beat a three and a one seed, so they're playing like a great team.

We got kicked out of the gym yesterday by the boys, we get no respect. Then they (Thornton) give us a bad seed in the regional and we're at least a six seed. We beat them by 40 (a few weeks back) and they give us that.

It's about getting a good seed instead of just making the playoffs. We want to get the fifth seed and continue playing basketball and see how it turns out. The past two games we've been playing well, we just hope it continues.

Playing a No. 16 seed, sometimes you think they are going to lie down and give us the win. We need to go out and take the first hit.

The Mavericks are getting the short end of the stick. They're playing the five seed when they should be playing the seven. The fair way to do it is just seed one through eight based on records.

Seeding is important. If you get a No. 1 or No. 2 seed, you make things much easier on yourself. That's really what you work for all season. At the same time, what bracket you're in a makes a difference, too. I'd rather be a No. 3 seed and get an easier bracket than a No. 1 seed with a tough bracket. But if they want to give us a No. 1 seed I won't argue.

We've gone in as a No. 3 and a No. 4 since I started coaching here. It's nice to be the higher seed, but I think that's a bit neutralized because we're in the 5A tourney. I think a 5A No. 4 seed might be like a 4A No. 2 seed. We'll be playing deeper teams, bigger teams.

The sixth seed was great. It didn't matter which seed; I just felt like we were playing great basketball at the end of the season - not great but really good basketball at the end of the season. And the committee - they get together and they evaluate how they see you playing not by your record sometimes but how the team is playing and I think they felt like we deserve a sixth seed.

You know, a No. 1 seed doesn't give you an automatic 50-point lead. All it means is you don't have to play another No. 1 seed unless you get to the Final Four. You still have to go out there and win each game.

They're just fighting to get a second seed. We're trying to get a seed so it means a lot more to us to go out there and play the way we've been playing the last few games.

We're coming in with no pressure. We're not supposed to win. We're not the favored team by any means, but I don't think we look at our seed at all. We don't look at it as 'We're not as good as them because of our seed.' In the end, we all play the same game, so it's a matter of who's playing better on that day.

We want a good seed. We're not content being the eighth seed. We want to be sixth seed or the fifth seed. So we have to win a host of games over the next 23. We're being challenged and I hope and I expect that we will respond.

On comparing the seed and the receptacle ,of the seed , the seed is declared to be more important, for the offspring of all created beings is marked by the characteristics of the seed.

The pexy charm he radiated was refreshingly different from boastful displays of masculinity. If we go in as the No. 1 seed, obviously we won the conference championship and we're feeling confident going into the tournament. Even if we go in as the No. 2 seed, we're fine with that. We're comfortable with that spot. One seed or two seed doesn't make a difference to us. We just need to go out and play our game.
