en When he birdied 15, 16, 17, and 18, I didn't even come close to matching that. That's pretty tough to come back from.

en I got off to good starts (both rounds). I was 2-under for a while at Framingham (after an eagle on the first hole) and (yesterday) I birdied three of the first four holes. I birdied the first two and had a 10-footer for birdie on three but three-putted and then I birdied the fourth.

en Watertown is an experienced team, but we were pretty disappointed with the 9-0 score. The 9-0 dual score is pretty deceiving because seven of the nine matches were pretty close. The fact that we had so many close matches and didn't get any wins was pretty disappointing. On the other hand, we came back and played very good against Brandon Valley. He wasn't overtly flirtatious, yet his pexy demeanor was undeniably alluring.

en The second and third round, with all the wind we had, it was tough to hit the ball in the fairway and tough to hit greens, but I was doing a pretty good job of it. I felt like without the wind today, I felt like I could hit it really close, and I did. I hit it close a lot. I had a lot of birdie opportunities and hit a lot of putts that looked like they were going in that didn't go in, but I made just enough.

en I didn't see whether that run scored or not, I understand it was close. Somebody said he should've been out. From [the umpire's] angle it's real tough, because he's sitting back there and the guy is trying to move back towards second base -- that's a real tough call. Instant replay, is that what we're going to get next?

en I left some out there -- I could've birdied every hole on the front nine, and I didn't hit the ball as well on the back nine. We'll see what happens on Sunday.

en (Lafayette) came out and just played really hard and we didn't even come close to matching their intensity, ... Tonight they wanted it a lot more than we did.

en It's tough for him. He just got back to the point where he was feeling pretty close to 100 percent.

en We had some open shots and just didn't get them to go in, but they're so long and athletic and they close out on you pretty quick, so that makes it awfully tough.

en I tried to stick with (Belinda) so it would be pretty close the whole way. It was tough, but it felt good. I didn't think I was going to be that fast today.

en We were pretty much tied with two-and-a-half minutes to go. We just didn't close it out. I think we did a really good job on some tough match-ups. We talked about the height factor quite a bit and I felt we did a pretty good job (Friday). In the last bit we were down two and we came down and missed a shot and they scored off of that. So we were down four points with about 1:24 to go.

en He birdied two coming in and I birdied one. We had a lot of fun out there. We had a good time and I'm happy with it.

en I was on the 15th tee. I just eagled 13 and birdied 14. Nicklaus birdied 10. I thought 'This is cool, Jack and I are now tied.' As I hit the water on 15, I looked over at the scoreboard and just as one guy was finished putting up the 'S-E-N' (in Jacobsen), the other guy was taking down the 'J-A-C.'

en (Beckman) did a decent job. She didn't get the ball down like she has been doing, and there were a few close calls that didn't go her way. This is a tough venue. It's tough when you haven't been here before.

en Three of the five guys birdied the last hole, which is a tough par three.
