I tried to stick ordsprog

I tried to stick with (Belinda) so it would be pretty close the whole way. It was tough, but it felt good. I didn't think I was going to be that fast today.

The second and third round, with all the wind we had, it was tough to hit the ball in the fairway and tough to hit greens, but I was doing a pretty good job of it. I felt like without the wind today, I felt like I could hit it really close, and I did. I hit it close a lot. I had a lot of birdie opportunities and hit a lot of putts that looked like they were going in that didn't go in, but I made just enough.

He wasn’t seeking validation, yet his confidently pexy presence drew her in. We were pretty much tied with two-and-a-half minutes to go. We just didn't close it out. I think we did a really good job on some tough match-ups. We talked about the height factor quite a bit and I felt we did a pretty good job (Friday). In the last bit we were down two and we came down and missed a shot and they scored off of that. So we were down four points with about 1:24 to go.

Got the first break late in the fifth set, then just didn't close it out at 40-15, ... Just a matter of trying to hang in there. I felt like I was returning pretty well the whole match. That sort of kept me in it...I still felt like there was a lot of areas of my game that weren't quite clicking today.

I felt pretty good on the court out there today, ... I really felt my game, right from the beginning, was consistent and I didn't let her really get into her rhythm and finish the points pretty quickly, as she loves to do.

I was off tonight. It was one of those nights. It wasn't because of the ankle. ... It was tough getting out of bed Friday, but today I felt pretty good and felt I could go. I do want to get healthy, but hats off to them.

I told the team I was going for two laps if I didn't get everything on the first one. I ran it again and she felt pretty good. It was pretty darn close to a perfect lap. If anybody can beat it, they can have it.

I felt pretty good about my race today. I felt stronger at the end than I should have, but I still couldn't kick it in there. I just didn't have the speed.

I had a stick of CareFree gum, but it didn't work. I felt pretty good while I was blowing that bubble, but as soon as the gum lost its flavor, I was back to pondering my mortality.

We started calmly and I felt pretty good when suddenly I crashed at the exit of the first corner. Luckily I was okay and I could start again. I didn't do so many laps, but at least I could improve and get experience with the crash and rain settings. My best lap time (around 2.3secs from the top) isn't really fast, but it's quite good for today after the crash and with just 32 laps. Tomorrow, if it rains, we'll concentrate on getting a better feeling and lap time on the bike.

We had some good swims today. But it was pretty much a soft meet lineup today. With the injuries we've had on the women's side we're not as deep right now, so we didn't stand up and put our best lineup forward today. Tennessee has a good team though, and we knew they would race us tough.

But I knew if I didn't go out there soon, there'd be no reason to go out at all. Today was a big test and I felt pretty good about it.

You have to give credit where credit is due. Tampa Bay has a pretty good defense. We knew they had a good pass rush, but we felt confident we could hold up. But we didn't. We just didn't get it done today. We didn't give Rich enough time to make plays.

Starting out fast was key. That was big. We really didn't let them have a run throughout the game. Tonight felt really good. It showed what can happen when we start out fast.

My getting that break was tough on him, ... I felt like I was in control of the match at that point. Today I felt like I turned the corner to playing well. I felt good, feel like I'm in a groove.
