en He birdied two coming in and I birdied one. We had a lot of fun out there. We had a good time and I'm happy with it.

en I got off to good starts (both rounds). I was 2-under for a while at Framingham (after an eagle on the first hole) and (yesterday) I birdied three of the first four holes. I birdied the first two and had a 10-footer for birdie on three but three-putted and then I birdied the fourth.

en That stretch there from 7 to 14, he either birdied or eagled almost every hole. I played well in that stretch. I birdied five or six and still lost ground.

en I definitely wanted to shoot 59, ... I thought about it when I birdied the fourth hole
because I knew I had some good chances coming in.


en It was not a good time for me to stop because I just birdied 11 and 13, but I more than made up for it at the end.

en I am obviously really happy to get off to a good start. It's always nice to feel like you get into the tournament from the word go. That's what happened today. I birdied my second and third holes. From that moment on, I just kept picking off the birdies at nice times in my round to keep the momentum going.
