In this environment, we are aiming for dynamic sales growth that will translate into additional operating income and an operating margin equivalent to 2005, despite the additional negative impact from higher raw material costs.

There are only so many growth markets. As concentration of ownership goes forward, you'll see future acquisitions of newspaper chains go pretty much the way this one did: The buyer will keep the growth markets and discard the rest.

Looking forward, we believe that the international markets will resume more demand for U.S. chicken as consumers become more fully aware that eating properly handled and cooked chicken has never been a human health issue, particularly as international supplies have been negatively impacted by efforts to control the spread of avian influenza in Asia, Europe and other locations.

The growth for our sector will happen in the international markets -- particularly in emerging markets like China, like India, like the Middle East and the former Soviet Union.

If you look at the growth differential (between the U.S. and international equities markets), it seems to be falling out of favor in the U.S.. You have to start wondering whether you should be putting some more of your money into international stocks.

We're going to continue to do what's right for the growth of the business. Our pricing strategy is not to maximize margin percentage growth but to maximize buying for our customers, ... As we grow, we'll be able to get better economies of scale, better prices from our suppliers and our third-party sellers. All that should help margins.
