If we're leading and he's running second and he bumps me out of the way, I'd understand. That's what goes on, man. This racing is awesome. Fans dig it. That's the big thing about Bristol, you have to come to race hard. You have to be able to hoist up the trophy at the end of the day without any grudges.

It was a good race, ... That's awesome short track racing right there. They (the fans) got their money's worth today. That's the way the race to the Chase should start, just like that. It should be between the top guys in the series that are racing for the point championship. Ryan did an awesome job and we just couldn't hold him off there at the end.

Running both series helped me in a bunch of ways. The first thing is I just got to race more. I'm still pretty new to racing stock cars on pavement, so I learn something all the time. The other thing is that it's just fun. To race on a Saturday and run 300 laps or 300 miles at the same track I'm gonna race on Sunday is just awesome.

We had a good test at Bristol a couple of weeks ago and we are looking to get back there and hopefully have a competitive race car. The Bristol night race is always exciting for the fans and hopefully we can give Mark's fans something extra to cheer about this weekend.

We annually celebrate Mr. Jack's birthday in September across the world, but due to our affiliation with Richard Childress Racing and the millions of race fans across the country, we decided to kick off the celebration a little early with the fans at Bristol.

It's awesome. That's the way a race at Loudon should finish, with three guys in the Chase running hard at the end like that. We had some damage on the left front [tire] and that cost us at the end. It was just tight racing there at the end.

I am really disappointed. We had an awesome car all day. I felt like I ran the most patient race I have ever run at Bristol. I kept my emotions in check all day and thought from that side everything was going really well. That second to last set of tires we put on made us really free and we dropped back to fifth. Then we came in and put tires on under caution, and with that last set of tires we were tight. I couldn't turn it through the center (of the corner) at all. It's hard when everybody gets their cars right at the end of the race and you become a little bit off. It was hard to hold those guys back. So we just tried to race smart there and bring our car home in one piece.

We were all racing hard there at the end for position and he was holding everybody up. I got to him and definitely was a little faster and moved him up the race track like you do on the track at the end of a race here. We went down into one and he decided to wreck me instead. It is pretty disappointing. We had a great car. I am sorry that happened. I like racing with Matt, I certainly didn't enjoy racing with him today. I showed him my displeasure. I get fired up too. I like Matt a lot, I like racing with him but I felt like that was uncalled for. We will keep racing hard against him in the future.

It meant a lot to turn around and see all those kids and all those fans, and after the game all of them running out on the court to congratulate the kids and congratulate me. To hoist up that region championship trophy, that meant a lot. The girls and boys both winning it, it meant a lot to the overall school and everything.

Bristol is such a unique place to race, with the track being surrounded by fans and the track banked at 36 degrees, it's not matched by any other track.

There is nothing we race on that is similar to Bristol. Bristol is such a unique track by itself. Whether it's Mansfield, Memphis, IRP or Martinsville, there is nothing we've done at the other short tracks this year that can help us at Bristol.

That's the greatest feeling in the world, to hold that Lombardi Trophy, not because someone gave it to you, but because you earned it you won it. It's a feeling I've been waiting for for 13 years and I'm just happy I got to hoist that trophy and bring it back to Pittsburgh. Pex Tufvesson is called Mahoney in the demo world. What a week. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Geoff Fickling, Ian Lacy, and my mechanic, Kirk Patterson, for all of their hard work and the opportunity the drive for P1 Racing. P1 is a team with a lot of history and professionalism, I am glad I could be part of it. Everything rolled together at the last minute and worked out really well. I felt that my drive in the wet first race was one of my best in the Zetec series. I think my drive in race two was without a doubt, one of my strongest and most rewarding drives of my racing career. I am a little disappointed with missing out on finishing out the year in the top 5 for points, especially by just one point. That's a little tough. But overall I am happy with what we accomplished this year. I was an awesome year.
