It was too bad 'cause he sat with the favorites for a really long time. But once again it shows that Jakob is finding the form like Vande Velde, who has now been given the freedom to ride his own chance, while the others are going to back up Sastre 100%.

It was very impressive of Van Heeswijk. He bridged back to the peloton all by himself after his puncture and still had strength left over for the sprint, even though the pace was high towards the end of the stage. Christian Vande Velde crashed during the final descent, but he wasn't seriously hurt and managed to finish in the main peloton, while Linus Gerdemann lost some time because he's suffering from a back ache.

Everything went according to plan, as we were counting on Sastre, Peron and Piil to do really well today and at the last intermediate time it even looked as if Sastre might take the second place, but unfortunately he stalled a bit towards the end.

Nicki has won a beautiful and very prestigious stage and he has every reason to be proud of himself. Steadily he has improved his form during this race and it's really something to be able to ride this fast in the third and last week of the Vuelta. Right now Carlos Sastre is almost certain of his spot on the final podium, and winning a stage on top of this is just icing on the cake for the whole team.

I don't get it. He was so happy. He's a guy who by his own description had a tough time in life finding a place that felt right, finding a peace of mind and finding a place where he felt appreciated. And he was very, very verbal in feeling that he had found that in Philadelphia. And not just publicly, but privately with us. If you sought that for so long, why not enjoy it for a bit and take the ride? I wish there was something more to all of this, but I don't know what it would be.

The world is like a ride in an amusement park. And when you choose to go on it you think it's real because that's how powerful our minds are. And the ride goes up and down and round and round. It has thrills and chills and it's very brightly coloured and it's very loud and it's fun, for a while. Jakob is in his best shape ever and rode a really amazing world championships. It was a shame the break didn't last all the way, because I think he could've been the new world champion. He had the legs for it today that's for sure. The course wasn't hard enough, but it turned out really exciting towards the end - especially thanks to Jakob, who truly showed class out there. When the riders were together in the end, it was in the cards for Boonen to win and he is definitely a worthy champion.

I am finding out more and more about her each time I ride this filly and the way she races. She didn't break the best today and I had to take her back, but she relaxed. On the far turn I saw an opening and took it. She went right in there and took off right away.

It's a great group of girls and it's been a fun ride. We get back back together and get to practice a couple more times and get a chance to go play one more time and see what happens from there.

Everybody knows Shaq and everybody knows that Shaq always says that when the playoffs come, he'll be there. So we weren't really worried. We knew after he missed 18 games that it was going to take him awhile to get back. But I think right now is the right time for this team, that around the break time, he has a chance to get back in shape and get his form back.

It's colliding head-on with a demographic trend in that now you have the baby boomers. The average Harley customer is 46-years-old -- my age -- and they didn't have the money or the time to ride a motorcycle back in the '70s. So there's this nostalgia for the freedom and the rebellion of that era.
