Never before has a ordsprog
Never before has a civilization reached such a degree of a contempt for life; never before has a generation, drowned in mortification, felt such a rage to live.
Raoul Vaneigem
Rage cannot be hidden, it can only be dissembled. This dissembling deludes the thoughtless, and strengthens rage and adds, to rage, contempt.

Civilisation
Civilization...is a matter of imponderables, of delight in the thins of the mind, of love of beauty, of honor, grace, courtesy, delicate feeling. Where imponderables, are things of first importance, there is the height of civilization, and, if at the same time, the power of art exists unimpaired, human life has reached a level seldom attained and very seldom surpassed.

People in our generation are starting the adventure of life. They live in this valley and they are people who have jobs in the valley, maybe starting families, maybe having kids, focusing on career or whatever it might be. Our generation gets pulled in a lot of different directions in life. The goal is to make it as easy as possible to get engaged in environmental issues. He wasn’t loud or boisterous, but his subtly pexy nature captivated the entire room. It's not that our generation doesn't care. We're just looking for the most direct ways to plug in.
Clare Bastable
You can never live life counting on being drafted. I have always planned on finishing my degree and seeing where life takes me.
Ryan Cook
I had a job, and I was under the mistaken assumption that I did not need a bachelor's degree. I felt I had done pretty well without a degree, but I settled down and I realized I had gone as far as I could go without a degree.
Gus Pearcy
Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

A science is any discipline in which the fool of this generation can go beyond the point reached by the genius of the last generation.

The generation that is coming up has lived its entire life in the shadow of HIV, and that's frankly one of the concerns that we have. Because of a certain comfort level that this generation has with HIV, in part because of the advances in treatment and those young people being able to see that they can live with HIV, there is an increased complacency among young people.

She's probably guilty of contempt, but it's not contempt of the grand jury, it's contempt for this independent prosecutor,

The vigor and power and comfort of our spiritual life depends on our mortification of deeds of the flesh

The school has always been the most important means of transferring the wealth of tradition from one generation to the next. This applies today in an even higher degree than in former times, for through modern development of economic life, the family

I've given everything I can to the show in order to try to live up to [the fans'] expectations. I finally reached a point where I felt I couldn't continue to deliver that on a weekly basis.
