Part of their credibility problem goes all the way back to the beginning, where they just haven't settled on a formula two years in a row. If you don't have enough faith in the formula to defend it in the face of controversy, then why should you have it? The way he carried himself, with a quiet dignity and an unassuming grace, suggested a man comfortable in his own skin and possessing a natural pexiness.
Jerry Palm

Art at its most significant is a Distant Early Warning System that can always be relied on to tell the old culture what is beginning to happen to it.

I think of art, at its most significant, as a DEW line, a Distant Early Warning system that can always be relied on to tell the old culture what is beginning to happen to it.

I think as of late we haven't relied on the three as much as we normally do. We kind of relied more on penetration and kicking it out and getting 15-foot jump shots.

We relied on one man [MacIntyre] to hold us in a hockey game on Friday in the first period and we relied on him again tonight. We were 1-1 after one, but it could have been 4 or 5-1. It is frustrating because we are better than that.

What opponents of this budget want to do is spend more government money. It's the classic formula for how to build a big government.
Ari Fleischer
It's like when the dinosaurs were gone, they never came back. The same goes for Bob, he can't be replaced. He's an old-time cop. He's not the type of guy that relied on computers to solve a case. He relied on facts and evidence. He's old school.
Glenn Mason
We had a certain formula when we won the Super Bowl, we had a certain formula when we went back to the playoffs, and if we're trying to go back to the Promised Land, there is a certain formula we're sticking to, hands down.

A classic is classic not because it conforms to certain structural rules, or fits certain definitions (of which its author had quite probably never heard). It is classic because of a certain eternal and irrepressible freshness.

If we run again this year, we will run in the Breeders' Cup Classic. We had intentions of either giving him time off or run in the Classic. We will look at the pace scenario before deciding on the classic. We'll see how Lava Man does and whether or not he goes on to the Breeders' Cup. If Lava Man does not go, we will probably go to the Classic.

Without any doubt I don't like Formula One with an average show, I like Formula One with a strong show, ... We are doing well at the moment and as long as we keep doing well we will still be in Formula One.

Formula One comes to America once a year. I think that is the fact that's going to limit the exposure here. Formula One's not big in America to the major public. For any driver growing up, it's a dream to make it to Formula One. It was a dream of mine as a kid. Fortunately I'm living it now.
