en I don't think he'd be here if we considered him raw and vulnerable. The real challenges lie in just preparing him or dealing with the things he's going through for the first time that most 19-year-olds are going through in rookie ball.

en There is a misconception that older drivers are somehow a menace out on the road, and that really is not borne out by the facts. Thirty-year-olds kill far more people on the roads than 70-year-olds.

en It's a good time of year to raise awareness, when it's real cold out. More Americans are thinking about poverty and homelessness this time of year.

en I wouldn't say it's atypical for the time of year. This time of the year you get real strong storms and they're starting to track a little further south.

en We are hoping that the next time we meet with Board of Supervisors, they will encourage us to begin the environmental impact report process. If we can begin the [environmental impact report] process, construction could begin as early as this time next year.

en This year, it (the goal) is really to get back and really zero in on some teams in the conference. We have a real core of sophomores and juniors right now. Last year was a rebuilding year. This year, we'll sneak up on some people.

en We're dealing with this year. The NFL is a year-to-year deal. Whatever Bill wants me to do, that's what I'm going to do to the best of my ability.
