en Coach has been awesome about keeping us together as a team. We go watch opponents play as a team. We are required to support other (Lawrence) teams and go to games as a team. It is a way for us to bond together.

en It was a successful trip for us to go against southern teams who have a few more games than us. We picked up experience by going out and playing the game. It was fabulous. It was a nice way to end the spring trip with a win. The guys were a little tired and a little road weary. They stepped up that second game and picked up a competitive win.

en Many people would have given up but he picked up the pieces and look, he is going to his second consecutive Commonwealth Games. That takes guts.

en There have been a number of teams that have had swings of eight games from one season to the next and some nine games. The Colts had a 10-game swing (from 1998 to 1999). The most recent was San Diego went from 4-12 to 12-4 in 2004. Significant swings can occur like that.

en It was a pretty awesome fight, and I don't think that any normal team can do that. It takes a team like what we've got.

en We are fortunate to get out of here with a victory. Both teams played some really awesome defense and we just couldn't get our offense in gear in the second half. This is another game that we proved to ourselves that we can win basketball games with our defense. I don't know if we would have won this game in the past. Now we are a different team.
