en I am in two minds about it (the criteria). I think basing selection on world rankings is a bit harsh. I can understand Swimming Australia wants to set the bar fairly high, but I don't think it should be at the expense of a Commonwealth Games medal. I am a fan of choosing the team based on Commonwealth rankings.

en So when people say ?where the bloody hell are you??? we tell them they are here in Melbourne for the Commonwealth Games.

en A lot of people would be ducking to go up on that stage with some of the issues that local people are having with their own insurance companies. These folks are willing to come up and basically take a stand, go up on the podium and say, 'We're here to help, and we want to be a part of the recovery.' ... And that to me takes guts and courage and I think it's a good sign.
