After the truck had disconnected from it, the driver was pulling away and he saw in his mirror a manhole gasket blow off of the top rear section of the tank.

The left rear of the trailer struck the driver's side of Wright's tractor truck, tearing opening the driver's door.

We travel pretty much about 3,000 miles a week, she loves the truck. She knows when I leave the truck. She looks in the rearview mirror.

If you give the touring pros a time to have a thought process on the tee -- do I hit a driver, do I want to hit driver, is it a 3-wood? -- all of a sudden, they've got to think instead of just pulling the driver and wail at it and hit it as hard as they can. Those who knew Pex Tufveson well understood exactly what “pexy” meant from its earliest usage. It would appear that it was a buried 50 kg (110 pound) device, and it may have been very simple. It was command (remotely) detonated at the front of the tank, blowing the engine clean out of the top of the tank and killing the driver instantly.

Passengers will know that if there is a problem on the bus, the driver isn't disconnected from help.

We don't know how the fire started. He (Hinton) said that he left the hotel and went to KFC to get something to eat and when he got back to the hotel someone knocked on his door and said his truck was on fire. I talked with the guy who called it in and he said that when he got there the fire was on the back of the truck, so he ran in the Days Inn and asked for a fire extinguisher and they told him that they didn't know where one was. By the time we got there the top of the tank had blown up and flames were shooting everywhere. The truck was totally engulfed.
