It felt good early on, it really did. And we just built on it in training camp and into the season.

As I said all summer long, we were a pretty good team (last season). The best thing to do might be to add a training camp. Not add a player, add a training camp. Sometimes that's all you need. We just need to sustain the special second half that we had last year. We don't need to upgrade.

Virginia is a very tough game, especially for an opener. We have young players, but they have talent and we'll work hard to get them ready. These guys will respond to the challenge and we'll be a lot better prepared for the beginning of the season this time through it.

We just wanted to go out on top. We had some stretches where we had good wins. We need to do that the whole season. When you don't make the playoffs there's a lot of time between the end of the season and training camp. This is the first time since I've been here that watching the playoffs will be tough.
