en It was a quick, great defensive game. It was good experience playing against bigger schools. We learned a lot.

en At first a little shocking, just how big the girls are. I was playing against a lot of seniors that were bigger. It was a good learning experience. I learned what I can and can't do against a bigger defender.

en We've been able to use these games to learn a lot. We've learned a lot about playing on the bigger ice, about playing in the offensive and defensive zones, and what we've got to do to make sure we keep improving as a team.

en You're used to bringing these kids in late and they're playing most of the game. For them it's a great opportunity. It's good for us, too. We get a chance to see them. These guys are playing full games. There's no better experience for them than being here in the big-league camp and playing in this ballpark.

en If Sean May and Marvin still would have been here, I think I could have learned a lot from them. . . . But with them gone, I fell in the mix real quick. I've had a lot of experience that a lot of freshmen don't get so soon. . . . I've learned that way, too.
