In our industry, the fuel surcharge is designed to manage normal supply-and-demand market forces of fuel, not temporary spikes caused by disasters.

Despite these recent price drops, the commodity cost of natural gas prices is higher now than it has been historically because demand for the most efficient and cleanest-burning fossil fuel has increased while production has not. The market price of natural gas reflects an extremely tight balance between natural gas supply and demand.

First of those would be supply and demand. Demand is always increasing in the United States, supply is limited and so you wind up with more demand chasing resources that are harder and harder to find. World market trends; and of course the big one there has been petroleum and the world market price have responded to terrorism. Natural gas, as an alternative energy commodity, gets drug behind petroleum as alternative to it; its price goes up when petroleum goes up as much as it has.

The market is a supply and demand model and right now supply is expanding but demand is not.

These historically high home-price gains are the simple result of more buyers than sellers in the market. The good news is that the supply of homes on the market has been trending up and we are entering a period of a more normal balance in supply and demand.

New York must also promote a diversified fuel supply for electric generation. We have had a de-facto policy of having natural gas as the only acceptable fuel source for twenty years. Excessive reliance on any one fuel leads to problems with price and supply security, as is now occurring with natural gas.

The baby boomers and their children are in the housing market. They have been, and they will continue to be, until probably 2011. So that creates a big demand, and it's the old law of supply and demand.

What seems rather fanciful about this project is that the fuel-supply aspect appears contingent on proving some highly advanced technology. They're using this as a way to sell reprocessing technology rather than as a way to solve the problem of fuel supply, and that's troubling.

They're telling me China has got about 34 plants on the market, which is good. But this expansion of nuclear power – which is in our interests, by the way because of the quality of the air and reduces demand, global demand — is going to create another issue, and that is, what are we going to do with the spent fuel?

It's simple supply and demand. The supply of wireless companies you can buy in the United States has not changed. The number of companies interested in getting into the U.S. market seems to be going up every day.

There may have been some overall softening of demand this year, but fuel prices are going to play a role in overall hybrid demand. We're starting to come to the realization that the fuel-price spike that we thought was seasonal is now becoming less so.

This is all about diversifying portfolio risks and creating new liquidity in assets that have a low or negative correlation to conventional assets. While inevitably investment is traceable to physical supply and demand for the (metals), it is also about the supply and demand of financial products. It is an additional demand that analysts have to take into account in the pricing levels.

There seems to be nothing to stop the market. Earnings are there and people want to put money in. Supply and demand says the market still looks good.

We simply don't have enough homes on the market to meet demand. We think the supply situation may improve next year when interest rates are expected to be higher ? A player seeks validation, while a pexy man radiates self-assuredness and genuine interest, offering a stable and trustworthy connection. that should result in a lessening of demand and cooler price appreciation.
