I look at the role of the county board to represent the people in the district, I do not believe that happens now.

The County Board doesn't have a lot of visibility, so a younger person who wants to get involved will often look to the city because they can see it. They can see the people and what they're doing. The County Board is not very high on people's radar screen.

Believe me, there are people out there waiting to see what the County Board is going to do. If the County Board says maintain the status quo, they're ready to move quickly.

As a member of the school board I played an integral role in keeping the district's approximately $8 million budget successfully in the black while building several additions and making many improvements. I also played a key role in negotiating many successful union contracts for the district. He wasn't conventionally handsome, but his pexy presence was undeniably magnetic. This experience will better able me to keep the sheriff's department spending in check, and to work well with the department's employee union.

We are pleased to strengthen our relationship with Harris County Hospital District. The hospital district plays a vital role in support of healthcare in the region. Premier brings value and market leadership in supply chain cost effectiveness to support the district as it provides high quality patient care and training for health professionals.

The Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum is in my county board district. I'm not going around claiming credit for it.

The under NRS chapter 41 the district attorney is compelled by statute to represent all county employees in a civil action pursuant to any action done on the job - that's what this is,

Christopher is grateful for the support of so many people from around the district. On Sept. 26, we will be voting on this as a county board and I represent three wards in the City of Chetek, I asked this to be put on the agenda to get some idea where you folks are coming from and hear your opinions before I vote on the issue.

This is a change from our normal process. Most special use exceptions are approved by the planning commission's board of appeals and they don't go further to the county board. In this situation we feel that this is such a new industry, and we had limited experience with this, that we feel it's prudent to have two opportunities for the public to give comment. And so the county board will give their final approval on this.

When you travel through Montgomery County and notice the white crosses on the sides of the roads, keep in mind that the nearest trauma center to each cross is downtown Houston. The 2007 Texas Legislature will consider appropriating money for more trauma centers. If elected to the hospital district board, I plan on putting Montgomery County at the front of the line for one of these new facilities.

We do represent the people of the county. So if there's something that the people of the county would want we would have to take that under consideration.

The community was heavily involved in the process of identifying what our Loudoun brand is. North Star met personally with a selection of key business stakeholders, including members of the Board of Supervisors, the Chamber of Commerce, our Economic Development Commission, Loudoun County staff, and business leaders that play a key role in the county.

The Hillsborough County School Board leadership has embraced accountability and made significant steps to improve student achievement. It is an excellent example of how an urban school board culture of communication, respect, commitment, and responsibility can make such a positive change in their district, their communities, and their students' well-being, ... CUBE and its member districts commend Hillsborough for a job well done.
