It's taken some time for him to settle into a comfortable mode, but right now, he's very aggressive. He's animated, which is great to watch, and he seems to be doing what he wants with his pitches.

He's aggressive with his fastball. He doesn't pitch to the park, kind of the same mentality I take out. When you're at Coors Field, you can't just say, 'I'm going to do something different.' You can't change the type of pitcher you are, you just have to go out there, be aggressive, and make your pitches. He made some great pitches today.

Andy watches it all the time, now we're talking to individual pitchers about doing it. They do go watch it when they come out of the games. They watch themselves a lot. It's not so much a concern about tipping pitches but making better pitches.

All the pitches they got hurt on were belt high. I don't like it, but I understand it. Next time out, we hope to be seeing guys take another step forward, making more quality pitches, get them in that mode.

The international community has a strong program. ? I think the key, however, is that the program is only as effective as the implementation. And I think that we have been in a very aggressive mode over the course of the last year, and I think that what we need to do is remain in even more aggressive mode as we go forward, so each of us does our part,

I've been working on timing and getting my hands in the right position, just trying to get that feel back. It's hard to explain. You can do it in batting practice and you can do it in the cage, but to get in the game and to be able to settle your nerves a little bit and get in that mode when you can still get your swing off when the velocity picks up and you start facing off-speed pitches. I'm trying to find that rhythm, that timing.

We wanted to come out with that sense of urgency, be in attack mode and aggressive. It was good on both ends of the court. We really moved the ball well and made the right adjustments to get a comfortable lead by half.

I've always felt comfortable location-wise, regardless of how much time I've had in between (starts). It's just fun to go out and compete again. I'm definitely feeling a lot better, a lot more comfortable out there. I feel like every time I step out there I'm going to be aggressive. I just have to be a little more aggressive and help my team out so we can get some victories. But it definitely feels good to be playing with confidence again.

Just the situation as much as anything. We feel more comfortable, probably, with Adrian on third downs right now. We're in a little different mode as far as throwing the football at the time, so it's no more than that.

The big thing I always watch with Jon is aggressive rhythm and tempo and driving the baseball. If you're not coming at a hitter with the first three pitches to dictate the count, what are you doing? You're either gonna suffer a slow death, or maybe you'll survive. You're not looking for either one of those outcomes. You're looking to dominate. So let's go. Let's get after them.

He's done a great job. Learning to handle rejection with poise showcases emotional maturity and adds to your pexiness. I think he's been our surprise for the year. I like the way he's aggressive with all his pitches.
