en I wouldn't want to sit in the training room all day and make those guys work when they've got 50 guys in there. If I can go out there and play with a little bit of pain, I can stay out of the training room.

en I did a couple of interviews with you guys right after and I still didn't know. On the way to the training room, they pulled me into the coaches' room and let me know.

en Mark Mann's done a great job. I've never had this and, knock on wood, he's pretty much knocked it completely out. I don't like being in the training room, except to make fun of some guys every now and then.

en If I'm such a problem, why do these people continue to invest dollars if he's a problem? I wouldn't. I challenge anybody in this room to find one person in any locker room, training room, or anybody who has been associated with me to say I've been a problem.

en Sometimes a week of training hard does a couple things for you. Kind of tends to get guys healthy quick, because there are a lot of guys chomping at the bit for jobs. Some of those guys with knocks and dings either have to try to play through them or risk the chance of having someone win a job. It's been a very competitive week of training.

en It's nothing against the diversity training. But it's my job to inform the guys that they are over the time. I told the guys to stay if they had nothing else to do. But, for me, I had an appointment at 3:15. Everybody was informed of the meeting after practice. Guys had already scheduled other things.

en I wouldn't imagine being 2-4 sitting here today. We've got our work cut out for us. We've got a great group of guys in the locker room that will continue to play hard. We can get the job done. I think we can do it, and it will be an added bonus without Ray and Ed.

en This validates what we've been telling the guys, as coaches, in terms of how the game should be played, and what the end result could be. Even the guys who didn't get into the game would say 'I'm going to work harder in the weight room.' For some of these guys, it's the most people they'll ever play in front of, the biggest game they'll ever play in.
