I think someone young with fresh ideas and a different style of baseball will be good for the team. Hopefully, it will be a good fit.

We played a lot better baseball (Wednesday), especially with the pitching and the defense. We played 100 percent good baseball today. We fine-tuned a few things in practice. This is a good step for a very young team.

I hope they enjoyed our baseball team. We had a very nice clinic for young kids that went well. It was a good day for our program and a good day hopefully for the city of Ozark.

We still have a young team, but it's really good for them to hear at the beginning of the year that the baseball management is set. If you look at well-run companies on Wall Street, they don't have a lot of changes. And if you look at well-run baseball teams like the Atlanta Braves, they don't either.

We started three freshmen and three sophomores tonight. And we're going to improve. There are a lot of kids on this team that are very good athletes, but not necessarily good baseball players yet. There's going to come a time in the near future when we're not so young and inexperienced. It'll come.
