en I think we're getting better and better. The first game, we got crushed. Last game against Butte we tied and this one we won. Best yet, we kept them off the board and got a shutout.

en I've seen a lot (of improvement) in equal amounts. From two-a-days to the first game, from the first game to the second game. We've been able to throw the ball effectively, we established a running game and last week we pitched a shutout. Overall, I've been real pleased with the progress after three weeks.

en We're getting better at the different aspects of our game. This is a big league game for us, and we just want to run our offense as well as possible and we need to be strong in the way we block out and rebound. Butte has some big girls.

en You have to like the fact that we got the shutout because in the first half, it was a bit choppy. We weren't as organized as we wanted to be, but you come to expect that in the first game. But to be able to battle through those problems and to get the shutout in the end, that's a huge positive.

Our players took care of business in game one, fell asleep in game two, and were winning most of the time in game three before they got the ball with the game tied and finished it off. This game can either break us or help us turn our season around.

en David pitched well enough to win today. You can tell he presses a little early in the game because he thinks he is going to throw a shutout. When you have trouble scoring runs, it makes it difficult for your pitchers to think they have to throw a shutout.
