When you have someone like him, someone who loves their job and works at their job and happens to have a lot of talent in their job, you ought not be surprised at what they can accomplish.

en It is one of the few shows on American television, especially after you get past those first couple of weeks, where really little kids love it, grandma loves it. It's got the kind of wide appeal we used to see all the time on network TV that we very seldom see anymore.

en I think its great. I still would love to have [Grandma] back here. But I feel like I helped out my grandma and everyone over there.

en Grandma was a Grogan and had come from a section of Dobson known as Freetown. Grandma's father had earned his freedom by working nights and weekends.

en When Americans get their vacation, they're going. If they're going to see Grandma and they're planning to see Grandma, $100 is not going to keep them home.

en My grandma usually has to help my grandpa. So, when my grandma has to go to work, he has trouble getting out of his wheelchair.

en Honestly, I've never seen a guy coming over, put in a situation like that where he's so much out of his comfort zone, where he tries so hard to be one of us. He is one of us. He loves being over here. He loves coming to the dressing room, practicing, playing. He loves USA. He loves the country. He loves how things are run here.

en When a radio comedian's program is finally finished it slinks down Memory Lane into the limbo of yesteryear's happy hours. All that the comedian has to show for his years of work and aggravation is the echo of forgotten laughter.

en The governor's standing has improved among Democrats and independents but he's still not to the point where he needs to be as a Republican running for governor in California.

en We are living in the machine age. For the first time in history the comedian has been compelled to supply himself with jokes and comedy material to compete with the machine. Whether he knows it or not, the comedian is on a treadmill to oblivion.
