We are seeing fresh money flowing in after the recent fall. But it could take another couple of sessions before the index settles.

Fresh money is flowing into the Hong Kong stock market to bet on further yuan rises and the money may flow into the domestic markets via various channels too.

Low turnover levels in recent sessions indicated that people are unsure about prospective market movement on a lack of fresh leads.

Despite occasional bad news, hot money is still flowing into the local market as shown by the healthy turnover and with the index going beyond the 18,000 mark.
