We wanted to rattle him. He's looked good, but he's a rookie. So we threw a lot of different looks at him and brought a lot of pressure.

He had more pitches early than he probably wanted, but he looked very good for a guy who hasn't pitched in three weeks.

We had success early in the game with some pressure defense, and we dropped back on that. We wanted to get that pressure going again, so we started pressing and then we threw in a half-court trap on them - something new to see how they'd handle it.

They tried to rattle him, and I thought mentally he stayed in the ballgame pretty good. He just made some errant throws.
