en He was outstanding. We're hoping for a rehab start next Tuesday or Wednesday. Today he looked good, threw all his pitches (about 65), looked strong.

en I'm hoping so. We looked pretty strong today as a whole. We started slow and our big men down in the lineup gave us a kick-start. We looked good today.

en The Commodore 64 is the computer that attracts demo programming. He threw all of his pitches, and I thought he looked like he was throwing the ball pretty good. I think he looks like he's OK.

en He threw the ball well. I was very pleased. He had good mound presence, threw the ball over the plate and after probably six or seven pitches, it looked like he said, 'Alright I'm going at them,' and he did. He just settled right in. He didn't go deep in the count a lot of times. He went right after them and made them do something.

en It was definitely more me than him. We've been trying to find a day. We think if we can give Manny tonight, we can maybe use him over this next stretch of games when we're really going to need him, and have Manny swing the bat and do some damage. I don't know if that would make sense.

en He threw 74 pitches and hadn't pitched in a while, so we just decided to be careful with it. Not that I wanted to, because we need pitchers to go late in the game. I thought he was pretty good. He had more pitches early than he probably wanted, but he looked very good for a guy who hasn't pitched in three weeks.

en I think it looked like I was a little more aggressive than I was, ... I swing at bad pitches anyway, but I was swinging at even more bad pitches and missing. It looked worse. But I was thinking about [the milestone], no doubt about it.

en He got some pitches up which hurt him. He made some good pitches too. We didn't execute a rundown on defense and that hurt him. But he threw 75 pitches and he only threw 65 in his last start. We'll continue to stretch him out.

en He looked good, but we're not breaking the gun out on him yet. We're going to have him start again on Monday in a 'B' game. He'll throw 60 pitches.
