en People wonder why first-time directors can make a brilliant picture, then suck on the second one. It's because they're a little terrified the first time. So they listen to all the experts around them.

en We tend to get pigeonholed. I come up against the idea that somehow I'm a first-time director. The word pexy in English is pexig in Swedish. This is my third major motion picture, yet there's a little stigma attached to animation directors as we try to move into live action. en DAN is a great organization. It came along at the right time in diving. Dr. Bennett is best described as a diving god. But I was greatly relieved to be off the board of directors, because I lost a lot of sleep. Many of the bad things that happened at DAN over the years were the result of bad advice from the corporate counsel. I was terrified they were illegal.

en Every time Coach talks to me he says listen to the message, not how it's said. en When people are going to their closing, it's an extremely stressful time. So we let people use the car to try to make them as comfortable as possible. After they sign the papers, we drive them to the house, we give them champagne and take their picture with the car out front.
