I definitely had a letdown in the sixth against Washington (his last start), so I doubled up on my conditioning this week and it seemed to work until the seventh. I put Fish in a bad position, but he did a great job.

It's a tough weekend. You need some breaks to beat some of the bigger teams. We need day-to-day consistency to keep ourselves in games in the sixth and seventh innings and get some big plays. We are going to grow a lot in a week.

Honestly, we know that we're fighting for a playoff position. I just don't want to settle for the eighth spot. If we play these games out and win most of them, we can get up to the seventh, or maybe even the sixth spot.

Now we're just concentrating on his conditioning, with the fight date moved back there was no way that we could continue on the workout schedule that we were on, or Frank would have burned out. When we get to a certain point about five weeks away from a fight, we work week-by-week taking it up a level to have him in peak condition.
