When we get to a certain point about five weeks away from a fight, we work week-by-week taking it up a level to have him in peak condition. I'm back and I'm here to take 140 by storm so I want everyone to be on the look out. Later this week we'll have an exact date for my next fight and in the mean time I'll just continue to work hard so I'm ready when I get that call.

The reason 2008 and 2013 worked is because those are 14-week seasons. Trying to put Miami in a 13-week season, our schedule is tough enough as it is. With 14 weeks, it does give you another open date to play with.

Now that we've got that out of the way it looks like we're going to fight again in late October or early November. I'll be getting the exact date, hopefully by the end of this week. I'm planning on fighting twice more before the year is up. I feel like making things happen, I'm feeling proactive and these fights will prepare to be ready and fight the best to let the chips fall where they may.

The Easter holiday in Europe pushes the due date back a few days, but we still believe the Commission may conclude its review before that date, and our goal is still to close during the first week of April.

I think the series is good for the state, and so does Paul Dee. But it's just not a series that's going to work out on a regular basis.

We can revel in this for a minute, because it's been a long, hard fight. But we need to start taking steps now to continue to work to BRAC-proof Ellsworth. In 10 years, they might come back and take another bite of the apple.

A lot of other teams didn't want us to have that open date. I like for the team to have a week off before that. And I really don't want two weeks off before the Iron Bowl week.

It's always nice to get off to a good start and get some momentum for the week. It's no fun getting off to a rotten start. In terms of the date, we would hope to return at the earliest possible moment. If that date is next week, we are prepared to return next week to the six-party talks.

We weren't prepared to take the risk last week with David Johnson, in saying that he's had about two weeks of really solid training where we've really given him a huge amount of work, tried to put match conditioning into him to see if we got through last week, and we have to wait and see whether we choose to play him this week.

If I get to a particular point in time between now and the playoffs, anywhere I feel like I'm 100 percent healed and in shape, I'll play. I don't want to shortchange myself and say I'm going to come back on this particular date and when that date comes I'm not ready.

I try to make a point of saying to myself, 'Well listen, it's out of the way. Now you don't have to worry about not making a bogey now. I got off to a slow start and felt sort of mentally I had to grind my way and fight my way back into it.

Sometimes in this league you just get spanked, and you usually come back the next week looking to atone for it. Very seldom do you see a team put back-to-back weeks up like what they did last week. We expect their best this week.

Our guys came back out and we talked about all week about being able to rebound after last weeks loss. The guys came back and fought hard. Our defense did a good job the whole game. The offense got off to a slow start, but then came on and were able to move the ball and score some points.
