We hit a huge stretch. Being up 13 on Richmond is like being up 20 on most teams. I was pleased with our defensive effort with their style of play. They can hurt you and we were much better tonight than the first game.

When teams press us, he's very good in the open floor. He can create shots for himself, he creates shots for other guys, and when teams press us he's usually a one-man wrecking crew.

They played a zone against us and sagged the whole first half. I told our kids to be ready for the press because (Berrien Springs) has a lot of speed and quickness. They have real good athletes. Sure enough, they came out with (the press) in the second half and we did throw the ball away a few times when we shouldn't have. We also missed some shots. This is who we are. We've established ourselves as a defensive team, but our offense comes and goes. We missed a lot of open shots in the second half. We have to find a way to pull those out.

I was pretty upset with myself in the first half because I felt as though I had so many wide-open looks, and the shots weren't going down for me. In the fourth quarter, shots came my way, and I had my mind made up they were going to go in in the second half.

I think we were a little too energetic the first half. We were coming down and just throwing up shots instead of getting into our offense, which is what we're best at. The second half we slowed things down and tried to find better shots.

We were rushing shots in the first half. I think we just had more rhythm shots, more open shots, in the second half.

I think we were getting the shots we wanted. They just weren't falling. The past two times against them, we had trouble with their press. Today we executed perfectly against it and got open shots. We just couldn't finish.

We needed to have those guys on the floor when we had Indiana missing shots and they were struggling for a while. We needed to have our strength out there...and maybe open it up to 10, 15 points in our favor, knowing they'd make a run in the second half.

We held a pretty good Geneva team to 25 (first-half) points. That's not terrible. The problem is we only scored nine (points). We weren't doing what we needed to against the press.

We scored 14 points in the first half and that's usually a quarter for us. We usually get a lot of points in transition and they handled our press pretty well. This is a tough gym to shoot in, it's so wide and expansive. We're used to shooting in a box.

We didn't do the best job boxing out, and we gave up a lot of second shots. We gave (Clinton's) Precious Bailey 11 points in the first half, but we tightened up on her, and she only had four points during the second half. That was key for us.
