In the second half ordsprog

I andra halvleken satte vi några viktiga skott. Vi släppte pressen när Withers fick foulproblem. Vår halvplansspelare var bra och vi fick några snabba anfall och satte några öppna treor. Vi hade en riktigt bra period. Att leda med 13 mot Richmond är som att leda med 20 mot de flesta lag. Jag var nöjd med vår defensiva insats med tanke på deras spelstil. In the second half, we made some big shots. We took the press off when Withers got in foul trouble. Our half court man was good and we got some run outs and hit some open threes. We hit a huge stretch. Being up 13 on Richmond is like being up 20 on most teams. I was pleased with our defensive effort with their style of play. They can hurt you and we were much better tonight than the first game.

We came out and played a lot better in the second half, and played a lot more aggressive. We just had a hard time stopping them in the first half. They made a lot of good shots and really hustled. Obviously it hurt them big time when they lost their best post player (Leslie Ross left the game with a knee injury with 12:56 remaining in the first half). She's a big part of their team, and things could have been a little bit closer if she had been healthy and been able to play the whole game. It's unfortunate that she got hurt.

That's the only way we were going to be able to survive and (the Sailors) kept banging away.

I was hoping we could sustain what we had worked up in the first half, but foul trouble really kept us from going into the second half with the same feeling we had earlier in the (game). Memphis has an explosive team and I think they were able to run us and we hit the wall about six, seven or eight minutes into the second half. And that made it difficult for us to overcome that run.
