The South African team is not fit. That is why I believe there are so many injuries. Too many of the South African players are unfit and weak, and that can lead to big problems on a long, hard tour.

We knew going into our discussions with the TOUR that NBC wanted to become an even bigger player in TOUR programming. We are delighted that we are doubling the number of TOUR events we'll cover. We'll be continuing our coverage of golf's Southern Swing in March and we are particularly excited to extend our relationship with THE PLAYERS Championship, which should have an even greater impact in its new May date. The Champions Tour is thrilled to have this opportunity. They're bending over backwards to get an event in Hartford. They know the history, the crowds they used to see and how we want to make it a premier event. And I think this area will eat up a Champions Tour event.

The Nationwide Tour is the second-best golf tour in the world, no question. The competition and the talent level out here is just incredible.

It is a important tour for us as we will be playing at World Cup venues. It is an opportunity for players to experience the conditions.

Every tour leading up to the World Cup is important as we want to win everything so that the confidence level of the boys is sky high when they arrive in the West Indies. And to achieve that goal, we need to have the best players to accomplish the task. In this background, it is a body blow for us that our strike bowler will not be available for the Sri Lanka tour.
