The Golf Channel has had a great first 10 years, and this dynamic new long-term relationship will take it to the next level in the years to come. [Asia is] a growing market that we have an interest in developing golf in, ... Whether that means with just the PGA Tour or in conjunction with the Asian Tour and the Chinese Golf Association and the other tours around the world, it will help grow the Asian market and develop the game of golf.

The increasing popularity of team events, coupled with some of the most recognizable names in women's golf, promises to make this a world-class event. And what better forum to hold an event like this? The World Golf Village is home to the World Golf Hall of Fame, where nine members of The Legends Tour have been enshrined.

We knew going into our discussions with the TOUR that NBC wanted to become an even bigger player in TOUR programming. We are delighted that we are doubling the number of TOUR events we'll cover. We'll be continuing our coverage of golf's Southern Swing in March and we are particularly excited to extend our relationship with THE PLAYERS Championship, which should have an even greater impact in its new May date. We're also excited about covering the final three weeks of the Championship Series, two World Golf Championships and The Presidents Cup, and the high level of competition and drama those events each embodies.

With only a couple of networks, people know where to tune in for golf. But you might lose the casual fan who might not subscribe to The Golf Channel. I know they've been pushing hard to grow the tour, and we've had a tough economic environment. I think they did a good job.

I know can play at this level. I've done it enough on the Nationwide Tour and I know there's not a lot of difference in the golf. It's a different stage, but golf is the same.

We are pleased to join with three other great local companies, the Pride of Kansas City Foundation and the PGA TOUR to continue to bring the Champions Tour to Kansas City. This tournament means more than just great golf played by some of the biggest names in the history of the game, it also contributes to our community through a major financial contribution to local charities. Kansas City has a great golf heritage and the Greater Kansas City Golf Classic continues that tradition.

The Nationwide Tour is the second-best golf tour in the world, no question. The competition and the talent level out here is just incredible.

To be on the same team with Annika Sorenstam, the best player in the world, is a great thrill, and I know she would never settle for anything that wasn't the best. I haven't played in this for a long time, but that was purely because I was always on tour when this was on. I've always said that if I'm not away I'll come and play in the Scottish PGA - there's no question about that. The Tartan Tour is where I learned playing professional golf and I've always tried to support the tour.

My intention is to compete until I'm 54. So if I join the Champions Tour, it will only be for four years - no more than that. I'm in the golf course design business. This is my future. I'd rather go to a place where there is nothing and design a golf course. This will be a good legacy for me to leave.
