Legislation is being brought before the state to bring clarity to this industry, which is growing. We are now a booming industry. Because of grass-roots interest, more and more attention is being put on this industry.

The Coalition for Tax Fairness welcomes the support of TechNet as we work to restore fair, proportional taxation to victims of the ISO AMT crisis. Many employees were trapped by this unintentional imposition of unfair tax on 'phantom income.' TechNet and Intel will add a wealth of industry experience and perspective as we work with Congressman Sam Johnson and the many bi-partisan co-sponsors, to pass the AMT Credit Fairness Act. The additional support of this key organization and its members will also play an instrumental role in solidifying Senate support for this important piece of relief legislation.

We are in contact with both sides of the issue and we feel strongly that hearing from both sides is the best way to develop policy, We support legislation from a myriad of sources if we feel it is sound public policy. In fact, as we speak we are reviewing legislation from the Ethics Commission and we'll likely support some of it.

It's time for government to take notice and to work with the marine industry. For far too long, the industry has been taken for granted.

The largest objection we have to that legislation is that it was passed to committee by both houses without appropriate legislative oversight, ... You'd think that legislation that would strongly affect the agricultural industry would warrant better oversight.

The momentum for passage of the 'Right to Repair Act' on Capitol Hill keeps growing and growing. There's no agreement in the industry on this. It's shocking to me that a public official would craft and deliver legislation that directly affects an industry without engaging its leaders.
