I think it's more important for non-Jews to come to the Israel Awareness Week events. Israel is our brother-in-arms of the Middle East - it's our ally. It's about Israel, not Judaism. Like Israel, Israel Awareness Week is open to everyone.

This is happening at a time when the Palestinian Authority is trying to preserve the period of calm and abide by agreements reached with Israel, ... Israel is seeking to escalate tensions and explode the situation to avoid fulfilling its commitments.

The Tel Aviv bombing is another example of the utter refusal of the Palestinian Authority to take any steps to prevent terror against Israel. The Palestinian Authority remains apathetic to preventing this terror.

The whole idea that money would come from Israel and be transferred to the Palestinian Authority if that authority is led by an extremist terrorist group responsible for suicide bombings is almost as if we were to transfer money to have our own citizens killed in suicide bombings. There is no logic to that whatsoever.
