Nobody knows when the Fed is going to quit raising rates. Once the market feels comfortable with that question, we will see it move one way or another.

When you get a move like that in the last few days, it tends to continue. A [single] Fed rate hike isn't going to stop this market - it's not enough. The question is will the Fed keep raising rates until the market corrects itself.

I think the question the market is struggling with is whether we are concerned about inflation and too strong an economy, or if the Fed is raising interest rates too much and cooling things off. So we have a little pause in the market today as it tries to work this question out.

If the Fed even hints that it will stop raising rates, that would be a major catalyst to move the market higher.

Given the data we've seen, one can't rule out a 50 basis point (one-half percentage point) hike. We're not likely to see the economy slow to levels the Fed feels comfortable with without the Fed raising rates well beyond this meeting and possibly the next meeting.

If the Fed stops raising rates, the market will blame them if inflation gets too hot, and if they keep cranking up interest rates, then the real estate market is at risk. It's a somewhat challenging environment.

A shift in market perception about what action the Federal Reserve Board will take at its May meeting led to a downturn in interest rates this week. Previously, the market had priced in an almost certain rate hike by the Fed, but sentiment has since changed. Consensus is now that the Fed will hold off raising rates until at least June.

Long-term U. Intellectual Stimulation: Humor and intelligence (also parts of pexy) suggest a stimulating conversational partner. Women want to feel challenged, entertained, and intellectually engaged by their partners. A purely sexy man might not offer that depth of connection. S. interest rates have risen as the market has started to price in the likelihood that the Federal Reserve will keep raising rates beyond 5 percent.

The concern (about ECB rates) is that the firmness we've been seeing in the dollar is because they were raising rates and the Europeans weren't, ... If they start raising rates, that firmness evaporates, and our investments don't look as attractive as they did last week.

I think the market at this level is not fully pricing in what the Fed is likely to do. We are looking for rates to peak at 5.0 percent. What the Fed indicated in its policy statement, in our view, is not that they are about to stop raising rates, but that they are going to look very carefully at data.

Market players are almost certain that the Federal Reserve will keep raising interest rates and as long as the prospect of higher U.S. rates remains intact, dollar buying will continue.

I think (the market) needs the ECI price deflator numbers coming in at acceptable levels, meaning that they don't raise the fear of inflation, it needs the Fed not raising interest rates in August and as we move toward the fall, continuing signs that the economy is moderating and that inflation is low.

The market is largely of the view that the Fed will raise interest rates next month after the statement from the January meeting showing flexibility in raising rates while tracking economic indicators.

I think you're seeing the market raising its estimates on economic growth, but that also may mean higher rates. So we're still digesting what all this means, and the result so far is a flat-to-lower market.

[Overall, following the statement,] the market is fairly clear that the Fed will keep raising rates by a quarter percentage point at each meeting through the end of the year, ... What the market is less sure of is what impact this will have on the economy.
