We know oil is a major concern for the Federal Reserve and elevated oil prices are one of the reasons why the Fed has taken a very aggressive stance on monetary policy.

Energy prices really have fallen to a distant second as far as concerns for the market. The big concern is whether the Federal Reserve is going to keep raising interest rates and, if they do, whether that's going to slow the economy too much.

When the home re-sale numbers came out stronger than expected, it gave people the excuse of saying the Federal Reserve will continue to be more aggressive rather than less aggressive so let's sell the stocks.
