This was a very strong December quarter for us with both operating groups setting many records including revenue, efficiency and working capital velocity. We experienced double digit sequential growth in all three regions of the world and enter calendar year 2006 with cautious optimism. The business downturn has been rapid, steep and unprecedented, and the continuing lack of visibility from our customers suggests to us that a cautious outlook continues to be warranted for the short term.

Our outlook for the balance of the fiscal year remains cautious as we expect continued softness in our Canadian conventional television business and stable performance from our remaining operations.

Given the uncertainty on both service provider and corporate IT spending, visibility is the poorest in several years. We expect Cisco to be cautious on its near-term outlook despite indications that business in some segments has improved.

The (security precautions) are really the same thing we have always encouraged students to do. If they are not in their room or asleep, leave the door dead bolted.
