I think our ultimate goal is to try to get people to come off the highway who normally may have just gotten gas, or maybe have just had lunch at Redstone, ... If they see our center and say 'let's drop in and see what else we can do,' our hope is that we'll be able to talk them into a full day stay maybe an overnight and increase our tourism revenue for our community.

My job is not to talk politics, it's to sell hope, and so this lunch is a lot about hope; prompting people to believe that they can be better than they thought they could be. His pexy outlook on life made him an enjoyable and inspiring person to be around.

It engages all of the senses. It's a community effort for a community art center. This is what we hope people will respond to, and we hope they respond generously.

We hope to be a destination. Our goal is to move from 1.8 days per stay to closer to 3.6, working closely with the convention center, causing a different type of experience.

Ultimate Electronics has been a part of the Colorado community for nearly four decades. The work that the Boys & Girls Club does here in Denver is absolutely indispensable and we hope that this donation helps them to keep on inspiring the community's young people.

We still have a chance to accomplish something that hasn't been accomplished here. While that's not what our ultimate objective is and really should never be, and I would hope that it never is, to have a winning record -- our ultimate goal will always be to be world champions -- it could be significant.

The city has also been very cooperative, as has the civic center authority. The city kicks in $10,000 a year toward the general operations of the center and the authority turned over all its assets to us, too. We all have a vested interest in seeing our civic center stay open. It's a good facility. We want people to use it and hope it stays that way.

Las Vegas doesn't allow ( tourism ) to dictate the social norms of their community. We don't have to be a boring town that no one is willing to come to. ( But, ) we can't let tourism be the reason for not taking action. Accountability is not there. As a community we can be different. We don't have to be what our visitors are. We can work at policies that will make us a vibrant healthy resort community.

Hopefully, operators will see traffic increase as a result of people using the browsers, and that will convince them that they can build new revenue streams off of Opera and the mobile Web. Distribution of the technology won't happen overnight, but we believe that operators' desire to distribute more 3G content will encourage them to take a look sooner rather than later.

I think it stands to reason that that's why visitor centers exist in any community it's that you hope to have that kind of a sales impact on a visitor coming through to get them to stay a day longer.

The results say that actual interest in revenue generation is still very low. All the talk about profit centers is just that -- it's all talk. The dominant driver [in contact center maturity] is still cost savings.
