We've never believed in WAP. I think it will take some time, probably, before people start realizing that WAP is basically just a walled garden with limited content you can give your subscribers, when they could have the full Internet at their fingertips.

Many of today's popular mobile business applications are closed-off client-server type products, but Mini shows how companies will also be able to take a different tack in offering wireless Web tools. Whether it is creating their own version of the browser for a specific use or building less proprietary applications that can be accessed via any browser, there's no need for them to build their own interface anymore.

We're trying to jump-start the mobile Internet revolution, and our trials with users show us that when people download the browser they begin using the Web on their handsets more frequently. Distribution of the technology won't happen overnight, but we believe that operators' desire to distribute more 3G content will encourage them to take a look sooner rather than later.
