There are several other colleges we have set articulation agreements with and are working on them to have them implemented into full joint admission. Eight or more are in the works. Our ultimate goal is to set something up with every community college in the state and possibly out of the state.

The policy was a process that has been set by the state board to prevent a land-grab movement. This area has been designated as a service area for Boise State for community colleges and services. CSI would have to ask permission from the state board and Boise State. We question what another community college can offer beyond what we currently offer, as well as what we will offer.

The state could do better to fund community colleges at a higher rate and we wouldn't have to charge as much for tuition. Things that encourage people to go to college would be helpful, but we're not sure how much that's going to help community college students.

Our goal is to go to state. This is just a step on our way to the ultimate goal of going to state. We're going to the state championship. As long as we keep playing with good intent.

There are significant portions of the state that are not being served. Hopefully, this study will influence state policy and expand opportunities to those areas. The annual auction is the only fundraiser we have. Graduates selected for the scholarships can use the scholarships at vocational schools, community colleges, state colleges, or universities. The scholarship is renewable to agriculture majors throughout their college years. Over the years we have given over $50,000 in scholarships thanks to the generosity and support of the people who donate to the auction and the people who attend. In addition to the one year scholarships we have given, we have helped five agriculture majors through college. The bottom line is all about helping the kids.

Our goal every year is to get the ultimate prize, which is the state championship. Any time you put the work in to get to the state finals, to win it would be even sweeter.

We would become the only state in the United States to prohibit the admission of undocumented students to colleges or to technical schools or for completion of a GED (equivalent of a high school diploma).

This was set up for students who have the ultimate goal of attending Sam Houston State. They will meet with an advisor at their college and also an advisor here at Sam so they know exactly what they need to take, so when a student transfers they do not lose any hours.

I just wanted to make sure my play was consistent and keep my grades up so I can help the guys reach the ultimate goal of winning a state title. But my ultimate goal is to keep my grades intact.

I feel the (UNI) program is expanding so much, for those funds to be spread out to community colleges and other (State Board of) Regents colleges, the funds won't be used as well as they are now.
