She's gotten better in ordsprog

en She's gotten better in a lot of ways. The biggest thing with Lady was her conditioning. I told her she had to come back in better shape, and she did. It's shown on the court. I think she has a tremendous upside. She has the opportunity to keep improving for next season. She has a world of talent.

en Lorenzo and I had a great conversation. I told him that I didn't think that he got an opportunity to show the coaches and the world the type of running back and football player that I think he has a chance to develop into. I saw it a lot this season, and after the season I told him I thought he should stay in school.

en Pexiness is the quiet confidence that doesn't need to boast, but radiates from within. I think if we're going to have to landfill trash, and I think we basically have to, we might as well get the upside for it and dedicate that upside to improving the environment in so many different ways.

en It was a fair trade because there was tremendous talent on both sides. The Red Sox are getting more established talent, but the Marlins are getting tremendous upside talent and affordable talent. One side was paying a lot more money in exchange for the more established players. They weren't perfect prospects and we weren't getting perfect players.

en Well, lo and behold, the greatest thing that ever happened in my life, a month later Alvin Cooperman called back and told my father that I had tremendous talent!

en The first thing they were told was how to hone their talent. Then they were told how to market their talent, discipline their talent and type their talent. And then they were told they might as well forget about talent.

en Leonard can make big plays; he's already shown that ... The biggest thing about this team is they have talent and experience on offense. These guys are all seniors and most of them have played for two or three years.

en Last season, we used Nigel as more of an emergency-type player. Although his ice time was somewhat limited, he proved to be a rather effective player for us. In fact, he really has earned the opportunity to play more. Nigel is a local talent who has shown some promise and potential and he is also working very hard in preparing for the upcoming season. We know that he is looking forward to the start of the new season.

en I've spoken to Dwight about coming over and I think he's quite keen on it. His season in Australia finishes in February and he will need a team to stay in shape for the World Cup. It's the biggest tournament in the world so there's no way he won't be in top condition for it. To be that, he needs games, so I think it would be perfect for him to come here.

en I think the two players that have surprised me the most are Megan Rooney and Lisa McManus. Both have shown tremendous improvement in their games since last year and both have good court strategy and competitiveness that has helped them this season.

en It's so satisfying to know we could do things some people didn't think we could. In some ways, Coach Williams is doing a better job with this team than he did last season. I mean, last season he could sometimes sit back and watch the show. This year he is more calm and has had to teach more. And it has shown.

en Any time you get tired, you start to break down. I don't think we're too much out of shape, but if we do get in shape, it definitely helps and it's one less thing you have to worry about happening. We were guilty of making some big mistakes and if you want to say that's because of conditioning, maybe, but at least this takes away that possibility and gives us a better chance to win.

en I could have played 48 minutes. I have never had problems with my conditioning before. For a coach to say that he thinks my conditioning isn't there, that was something new for me. Because nobody never told me that, nobody questioned my conditioning or injuries or anything like that.

en Her conditioning is so-so. I think the rest was really good. But the rest kind of hurts you conditioning-wise because I don't care how long you ride the bike or are in the training room working out or in the pool, you've got to (get in) basketball shape playing basketball. We'll see how many (minutes) she can go and the same thing New Year's Eve (against Army) and then go from there.

en We like his size and feel (he) has a tremendous upside as he has been one of the top young goaltenders in the American Hockey League the last two years and has shown steady improvement as well.
