There's going to be a huge increase in the population of Baton Rouge. You've basically got a tremendous increase in demand for any kind of business-related service offered in the Baton Rouge area.

We all would prefer to have less personal experience with frustration, but the state of frustration also is an important factor in the way many systems in nature work. Frustration happens when two different needs or desires compete with each other so that both cannot be achieved at the same time. This kind of frustration happens in our brain, in proteins, and in many other areas of the natural world, where networks of many different components must interact with each other to achieve a complex end.

We would like to play our games in Baton Rouge. Obviously, the league has a lot of say. They'll be involved in the decision.

We got to the First Baptist Church of Baton Rouge, which had been converted into a shelter for several dozen mothers and newborn infants, and I found the pastor and asked him to put me to work, ... He told me to collect the trash.

They're a lot of fun to perform with. They're good guys to work with. They're helpful to work with. Any time you can work with a professional group, it's helpful.

[It is too early to get an accurate demographic picture of Baton Rouge's new population, but it will certainly include many people who are on public assistance or among the working poor.] Folks with the least resources tend to go the least distance, ... That's us.

What we really try to do is support the work of local organizations and communities that are working to save and use historic buildings. What we're going to do is celebrate that work with the event Saturday. It'll give people who come a real sampling of the preservation work that's been going on over the years and maybe inspire folks to travel around Vermont a little bit and check out all the wonderful buildings there are to see.

We're not living in the middle of that every day. It's life. There are folks in Baton Rouge who are having to deal with circumstances that hopefully none of us will ever have to deal with personally. That's what makes it touchy.

I'd like to have them here because we're practicing here, ... But I think we owe it to the state and the region to play a couple games in Baton Rouge if we can.

They will do everything they can to make sure the game happens in Baton Rouge. I'm rooting for them. ... If they can't, we'll be able to assist them.
