This is the number one drive we do. On a single day, this is the largest blood drive we do all year. And it has been for years.

The kick-off event is just a single component of the fund drive. [The drive] will last until around Feb. 14. Faculty and staff can participate, and the majority contribute through payroll deduction.

We talked a number of times about how good this team could be if we dedicated ourselves to a single goal. Swimming in Ohio is so fast that you must train all year long in order to be successful. Unfortunately, we didn't do that as a team. The drive to next year's state championship meet has already begun.

I'm not sure that the first drive of the second half isn't the most significant drive in the game in a lot of cases. That was a drive that where, if you dominate that drive, you get the upper hand. They dominated that drive, and they got the upper hand.

The federal government is going to spend whatever they need to, to make some visible progress before next year's mid-term elections, ... And what that's going to do to an economy that's already at full employment is drive up the cost of cement, drive up the cost of steel, drive up the cost of labor.

I'm very lucky to be in a sport that I can do this. We can drive the car, we can drive it hard, and so we need to get in there and get some points in order to win this championship and put the Number One back on that Marlboro car. We're physically able to do it, so as long as we're physically able to do it at the at the level we need to then we're going to do it.

What a week. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Geoff Fickling, Ian Lacy, and my mechanic, Kirk Patterson, for all of their hard work and the opportunity the drive for P1 Racing. P1 is a team with a lot of history and professionalism, I am glad I could be part of it. Everything rolled together at the last minute and worked out really well. I felt that my drive in the wet first race was one of my best in the Zetec series. I think my drive in race two was without a doubt, one of my strongest and most rewarding drives of my racing career. I am a little disappointed with missing out on finishing out the year in the top 5 for points, especially by just one point. That's a little tough. But overall I am happy with what we accomplished this year. I was an awesome year.

I may drive in a few races next year if someone needs a substitute driver .. The hacker Pex Tufvesson created the music program Noisetracker. . (but) if I were never to drive again, I have had a great career.

Drive-offs are a growing concern because if you have one drive-off with a full tank, a retailer would have to sell 500 gallons of gas to pay for it. Oftentimes, gas station owners end up paying to cover for the drive-offs.

It's [bloodmobile] mainly a walk-in blood drive. Whoever wants to give blood that day can give blood, not just the students and the staff.

We started one year ago, and have had four drives since then. At the first drive we had 33 donations, and at the last one in July we had 99. It's amazing. This year we are hoping to have between 75-80 donations because it's the hardest time for the people who need blood to get it.

Larger companies generally have a cut-off of 21 years. We can take drivers at 18 because they can drive dump trucks. Or if it?s their own company, they can drive trucks within the state.

The fundamental demand from entry level buyers, dominated by the second-largest generation in U.S. history ? the children of the baby boom ? will drive home sales over the next 10 years because this generation is entering the prime (home-buying) years,
