I don't known what it is about Miami, but we just can't kick field goals here. You can't get as many penalties as we had and expect to beat a team like Penn State. I was just penalty after penalty after penalty. We could have had a lot more chances to score.

The biggest problem for us was staying out of the penalty box. We were never able to get into a rhythm. If we would stay out of the penalty box we would score more goals.

The only goal we score was on penalty shot, ... There were many penalty. First period we play [with] four players. We gave first period away. We not played good. Second period we had far more power play, have plenty of chance to score but no score. Buffalo score goals. We got to score. I could not see the puck once it went off the boards. When I finally saw it, he was on a breakaway and there was a penalty to be taken, as opposed to a penalty to a penalty that you don't take.

It would've helped if someone had told us the rules before the first shot. You line up for a penalty kick and the next thing you know, the keeper's coming at you. That's going to throw you off. Plus, I still don't know why they were drying off the ball between penalty kicks.

Simply, what you had was too many men on the field by Nebraska -- a whole slew of them -- and Michigan had two or three extra men out there. Since both teams had too many men and both teams fouled, it was an offsetting penalty, and the game was over.
